And if you missed the pictures from our members’ gardens or want to view them again.

Don’t worry they haven’t been deleted, just moved to our Members Contributions page.

We are a small friendly group of Alpine enthusiasts founded in December 1986 and still going strong over thirty years later.

We meet on the first Monday of every month at Wilstead Village Hall, Bedfordshire. (With the exception of January when don't have a meeting).

Meetings start at 7.30pm, with the speaker starting at 8.00pm, and the evening finishing at about 9.30 (after tea / coffee / biscuits and a chat).

 How to find us

Annual membership costs £8.00 for singles, £12.50 for joint membership and £2.00 for students and juniors. There is a monthly capitation fee of £2 and this includes tea or coffee and biscuits.  The Visitor's fee is only £5 for each meeting, so if you're still not sure about joining us yet, why not come along as a visitor for a "taster" meeting?

Our Show every March is the highlight of our season and although smaller than the AGS National Shows, it can certainly rival them on the quality of the exhibits.

And it isn't just plants on display, we have many talented artists, photographers and embroiderers amongst our membership.

And for those wanting a bit of retail therapy, there will be plenty of plants on sale!

We pride ourselves on the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that we create at the Alpine Garden Society Bedfordshire Group and we hope to see you in the near future! For more details about the Group's history and activities click here.

Although we encourage our members to join the Alpine Garden Society, it is not necessary to do so in order to join our Group. Click the link to open the AGS website AGS.
