The Monthly Competition gives our members the opportunity to show off their finest plants and share their growing expertise. Every meeting has different classes, which aim to highlight both the huge variety of alpines and the plants that are in flower throughout the year. Recently we added an Artistic section and this has proven to be just as popular with our members as the plant competition. All the speakers we invite to our Group have commented on the high standard of plants that are exhibited, as well as how difficult it is to give one plant first prize over another!

Points gained by exhibitors are counted up throughout the year and those with the highest scores in each section are awarded the President's Cup, the Novice Cup, or the the Robert Amos Award.
